What's the most unusual location you were in when you had inspiration for a new song?

Hey there David! I enjoyed watching your interview on you-tube. Nice to see your face again! I thought that was a really cool idea to allow your fans (and friends) ask their own questions.. so here's a couple I'd love to ask ya!
First, if you could perform with any musician from any time (alive or dead), who would it be and would it be a particular song?
Second, who would be at your dream dinner party? (again, anyone dead or living. political figures, musicians, artists, family, you name it!) Thanks!

Great new site! Your line-up of shows looks great, especially opening for the Thunderbirds!!! Also, Reustle Vineyard - what a beautiful winery - will it be an outdoor show? We were there right after Memorial Day this year. Had a great tour and bought some wine to bring home. Have a great summer and keep making awesome music!

Thanks for the great show on July 15. The Vortex has been a new experience for me- where I can really get into playing and moving with the music that's inside me. The audience being "right there" with me... it really makes it "our" collective night. Thanks!

Hey folks, I had the pleasure of helping out at David's Vortex event last night! Helping folks get parked and keeping them dry as they entered the studio. Great night, lots of wonderful people, music,and food! I have to say that may day job (not a parking attendant) takes me to many large cities (airports, etc) accross the country and the ladies at last nights performance where the prettiest I've seen anywhere! I call David Samuel "Wavey Davey" because he is truly on a special wave length. His microphone cord is very long and plugs in somewhere up in heaven! The event was special the cause was special and David's continuing work to help people is a remarkable thing to be a part of...even if it is only to be "the umbrella man" Keep up the good work David!
